US presidential elections and the role of the media in shaping politics

Is international media biased when it comes to deciding which candidates will receive air time? Has US presidential candidate and real-estate mogul Donald Trump been given far too much attention, and further, has this coverage led to him receiving more support among the American population than he normally would have?
This panel will discuss the role of media in political campaigns, based on examples from ongoing US presidential elections. Examples will also be discussed on how the media has dealt with UK's ongoing BREXIT debate.
