Wiltrud Terlau holds a professorship for economics at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences (BRSU) in Germany and has lectured at various universities in Germany, the United States and South Africa. She had various positions at leading research institutes, the Federal Ministry of Economics, the OECD/OSCE and World Bank. Terlau is focused on international and sustainable development. In 2008 she built up a new, innovative MBA program (MBA in NGO Management), and she was the Vice-President for International Affairs at BRSU. Since 2011 she has been Founding Director of the International Centre for Sustainable Development (IZNE) at BRSU.
