Architect and member of the Attac coordination group
Mike Nagler is a political activist, architect and civil engineer living in Leipzig. He is a member of the coordination board of attac Germany and a member of the Tax Justice Network. He was one of the initiators of the first successful referendum in Leipzig which took place in 2007/2008, stopping privatization of public services. Currently, he studies the effects of neoliberal globalization on the local level. In his interdisciplinary doctoral thesis he compares the influence of local elites in privatization processes in German cities.
