Statement for the DW-campain "We are Germany"
As an athlete, I have been to many countries around the world. I was fascinated by different cultures, curious about their customs and traditions. These journeys have widened my horizon. The history of humanity is a history of migrations. Nobody can choose the place you are born. I would like to have a Germany as colorful and peacefully linked as the Olympic rings.
