Kotu a Najeriya ta daure tsoffin gwamnoni biyu

Kotun daukaka kara da ke Abuja a Najeriya, ta yi sassauci wa tsohon gwamnan jihar Filato daga daurin shekaru 14 zuwa 10, a hukuncin da aka yanke masa kan zargin karkata dukiyar jama'a.

Alkalin kotun daukaka karar a Najeriya da ya kwashe kusan sa’o’i biyu yana karanta sakamakon wannan hukunci mai shafuka fiye da 70, ya bayyana dalilai mabambanta da suka sanya shi yin watsi da wasu daga cikin laifukan da ake tuhumar tsohon gwamnan jihar Filato, Sanata Joshua Dariye, da suka hada da dora laifi fiye da sau daya a wasu laifukan da ya aikata.

Tsohon gwamnan Filaton da ake tuhuma da laifin cin hanci da rashawa na kudi Naira biliyan 1.126, wanda tun a watan Yuni kotun ta same shi da laifuka 15 tare da yanke masa hukuncin daurin shekaru 14, a yanzu bisa wannan hukunci an rage laifin zuwa shekaru 11.

Kotun dai ta cika makil da ‘yan uwa da abokan arziki da suka zo cike da fatan samun nasara a wannan shari’a da ke daukar hankali sosai, saboda shine daya daga cikin tsoffin gwamnoni da hukumar EFCC ta samu nasara a tuhumar da take masu.

 

Haka nan ma kafin wallafa wannan labarin, wata kotun na kan nazarin hukunci a kan daukaka kara da tsohon gwamnan jihar Taraba Rabaren Jolly Nyame ya yi wanda shi ma kotu ta yanke wa hukuncin daurin shekaru 14 bisa samunsa da laifin kwashe Naira biliyan 1.64 a lokacin da ya rike mukamin gwamnan jihar ta Taraba a shekarun baya.

Ana dai kallon sakamakon shari’ar a matsayin nasara ga hukumar yaki da cin hanci da rashawa ta EFCC da take fafutukar yakar masu halin bera a Najeriyar, da a kullum ke bullo da sabbin dubaru.

'Yan siyasar dai na da damar daukaka kara zuwa kotun koli wacce ita ce ta karshe a mataki na shari'a, muddin suka ji ba su yarda da hukunci da aka yanke masu ba.
