Violent Protest

An altercation between an anti-communist protester and a policeman, during the post-election riots in Chisinau, Moldova, in April 2009. The students were unsatisfied with the results of the election, and said that the elections were frauded, demanding the resignation of the communist president Vladimir Voronin. The peaceful protest degenerated into a violent one, ending with three dead students and a lot of injured participants, from both protesters and police’s side.
