Obama ahutubia maelfu Berlin

Rais Obama wa Marekani amehutubia umati wa watu zaidi 6,000 waliokusanyika katika uwanja wa lango la brandenburg, hotuba ya kihistoria iliyolengwa kufunga ukurasa wa vita baridi na kupunguza mbio za silaha za kimkakati.

Kijua chembamba kinapiga bado katika uwanja wa Paris katika lango la Brandenburg wakati diwani wa jiji la Berlin Klaus Wowereit, alipomkaribisha rais wa Marekani barack Obama na kusema, "Lango la Brandenburg liko wazi. Huu ni ushahidi kwamba hakuna kisichowezekana kwamba tawala za kiimla na kunyimwa watu uhuru vinaweza akushindwa".

Hata kansela Angela Merkel hajaiachia fursa iliyopatikana kutokana na hali nzuri ya hewa kumkaribisha rais huyo wa Marekani alisema "Tumeichagua hali nzuri kabisa ya hewa ili kukukaribisha Barack Obama. Na kushadidia uhusiano mzuri ulioko kati ya Marekani na ujerumani "Uhusiano wa dhati usiotetereka ndio msingi wa mustakbal wetu wa pamoja. Na hivyo ndivyo tutakavyoimarisha uhusiano wa nchi zinazopakana na bahari ya Atlantik katika karne hii ya 21".

Katika hotuba yake iliyokuwa ikisubiriwa akwa hamu mbele ya wageni zaidi ya elfu sita,miaka 50 baada ya ile ya rais wa zamani wa Marekani John F.Kennedy,rais Barak Obama alisema "Lakini ukweli kwamba tunasimama hapa tulipo hii leo katika mstari huu uliokuwa ukiugawa mji huu ni ushahidi kwamba hakuna anaeweza kushindana na kiu cha kudai haki,kiu cha kudai uhuru na kiu cha kudai amani kilichoko katika mioyo ya wanaadam

Rais Barack Obama amependekeza kupunguza idadi ya vichwa vya silaha za kinuklea kati ya Marekani na Urusi na kupendekeza pia kupunguzwa silaha za kimkakati za kinuklea bara Ulaya. Kuhusu Afghanistan rais Obama ameelezea azma ya kutaka uendelezwe utaratibu wa amani licha ya kuasisiwa na serikali ya Kabul. Na pia kuhusu Syria rais Obama ameshauri upatikana ufumbuzi wa kisiasa.

Kabla ya hapo rais Barack Obama alikuwa na mazungumzo pamoja na rais wa shirikisho Joachim Gauck na baadae na kansela Angela merkel. Amepangiwa kukutana tena na kansela Angela Merkel na pia mgombea kiti cha kansela kutoka chama cha upinzani cha SPD Peer Steinbrück.

Rais Barack Obama, mkewe Michell na binti zao wataondoka Berlin leo usiku kurejea Washington.
