'Accusations that Syria used chemical weapons and talk about my resignation change every day,' he said in an interview with the Argentinian news agency Telam. 'This is probably being used as a prelude to a war against our country_ I don't rule out a Western war against Syria.' Israel carried out its second air strike in days on Syria early on Sunday, a Western intelligence source said, in an attack that shook Damascus with a series of powerful blasts and drove columns of fire into the night sky.
