阿桑奇一案的外交爭執出現了鬆動。據《星期日泰晤士》報的消息，現年41歲的維基解密的創辦人阿桑奇願意回瑞典接受那裡的司法調查，但前提是瑞典方面做出保證，不將他引渡給美國司法當局。此前，維基解密的一名發言人對法新社表示，如果瑞典當局毫無保留地做出承諾，不將澳洲人阿桑奇引渡給美國，這將是結束這一爭端的良好基礎。
