Rights for India's textile workers

Some 45 million women work in India's garment industry, many in the manufacturing hub Bangalore, which supplies clothing for major global brands. By law, factories are required to provide childcare that meets certain standards. But kids are often abused, beaten or sedated instead of being properly cared for. DW speaks to Parvathi Madappa who's with the Indian Workers' rights organization Cividep.
