India's southern state of Tamil Nadu was hit by heavy rains for nearly a month. Hundreds of people died, and many were left homeless. The waters have finally receded now, but it will take a long time for people to rebuild what was destroyed by the floods. DW visited some of the worst affected areas of the state to find out how people are coping.
