World in Progress: High tech in Jordan's Zaatari camp

The UN refugee agency has rolled out a tech innovation at its Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan, the largest camp for Syrian refugees. It's using iris scan technology to provide aid and cash to the camp's more than 80,000 residents. The refugees can spend the money on things they actually need rather than standing in line for unwanted items.
