World in Progress: Cleaning up India's garment industry

The fashion industry has come under increasing pressue to reduce pollution and improve factory conditions. South of New Delhi, dozens of factories produce garments for the international market. Local people complain about problems with untreated waste water, but the new rules that require factories to clean their waste water are causing problems for the textile producers.
