Hundreds of thousands have been fleeing from the latest fighting. Is an end to the civil war really imminent?

Our reporter Anuj Chopra has just visited Sri Lanka. He even got permission to go to the Jaffna peninsula, which has been difficult to access for journalists.

Jaffna is a Tamil majority area controlled by the government.
