The Association of Southeast Asian Nations works to drive economic growth as well as cultural and social development. The next major step in its goals will be the creation of a free-trade economic community in 2015.

The association ranges from rich Singapore to struggling Myanmar. Thailand is also a member. Nick Pisalyaput lives in Bangkok and is first and foremost an entrepreneur - but his true passion is for education. He teaches sustainability to business students at the renowned Sasin Graduate Institute.
