US Secretary of State John Kerry says a free-trade agreement between the US and Europe is a priority for Washington. He was speaking after talks in Berlin. Kerry is on his first foreign tour as US Secretary of State.
The Syrian military has confirmed a 48-hour ceasefire in Aleppo after a US-Russian agreement, while sporadic clashes persist on the ground in Syria. The truce started at 1 a.m. local time (22:00 GMT Wednesday).
