Martin McGuinness, former IRA commander turned politician, died In Northern Ireland on Tuesday. In 1972 at the height of The Troubles he was in command of the IRA in Derry. When peace talks got underway decades later, McGuinness played a crucial role as a chief negotiator. And he eventually became Northern Ireland's deputy first minister.
