India’s foreign minister Pranab Mukherjee embarks on a visit to China this week. The trip, which starts on Wednesday, will focus on boosting bilateral ties. Enhancing trade will also be high on the agenda. India and China have set a bilateral trade target of $60 billion by 2010. The two sides also intend to discuss contentious issues such as border disputes between them.
