A German biathlete has tested positive for a banned substance at the Olympics in Sochi. 33-year-old Evi Sachenbacher-Stehle hadn't won any medals in Sochi. She says the substance likely came from a food supplement.

Figure skater Ivan Bukin is one of over 100 Russian athletes barred from the Olympics over the doping scandal. The IOC decision has bewildered Bukin and confirmed what many in Russia believe is an anti-Russian campaign.
Germany has won gold, silver and bronze in the men's Nordic combined, sprinting to victory after six athletes broke away from the pack. Meanwhile, the German men have advanced to the quarterfinals in ice hockey.
There was a photo finish in the Biathlon, while Norway won the Men's Cross-Country Relay and Slopestyle to overtake Germany at the top of the medal table.
