At least 90 people were killed as squalls and dust storms tore across parts of northern India, weeks ahead of the monsoon rains. More thunderstorms are expected.
Among those arrested were two Punjab National Bank employees believed to be at the center of the fraud — India's biggest-ever bank scam. The third suspect is an official from celebrity jewelry designer Nirav Modi's firm.
The remains of 38 Indian workers who were murdered in Iraq by the "Islamic State" group have been flown back to India. The government there has faced criticism for initially not confirming the killings.
