A la carte: Cognac - euromaxx (english) 28.08.2008

In a la carte today we're off to the south west of France and the picturesque region of Cognac. But it is of course better known for the particular brandy that is produced there named after the area. The Chateau de L'Yeuse is just outside the town of Cognac itself and its a mixture of architectural styles and influences. And so is the cuisine there, with head chef Pascal Nebout favouring local produce in his kitchen, and he often perks up his creations with some fine cognac.
