Marion Cotillard was born in Paris on September 30, 1975. Her international breakthrough came with the role of Edith Piaf in the film “La Vie en Rose” for which she won an Oscar, Golden Globe, César and British Academy Film Award.
Organizers have revealed that a biopic on the rollercoaster life of France's beloved torch singer Edith Piaf will open the 57th Berlin Film Festival next month, in an event with a distinct 1940's flair.
