机器人走进日本养老院
给拥抱、教做操……在日本的养老院里,越来越多的机器人承担起护理和陪伴老人的任务。高科技产品虽然价格不菲,但却给老人们带来了乐趣和帮助。
跟Pepper机器人来做下午操
人类社会在不断老龄化——在日本尤为明显。根据预测,到2035年,日本人口的三分之一都在65岁以上。为了更好地照顾老人,不少养老院已经引入了机器人来帮忙。
我的体操老师是机器人
在东京的这家养老院里,每天有一堂肢体练习课就是由类人型机器人Pepper担任老师。“右,左,右,真棒!”——老人们在机器人的带领下做一些轻柔的体操。如今全日本已经有大约500家养老院在使用Pepper代课。这种智能机器人不仅可以带领老人做运动,还能够陪他们进行一些简单的聊天。
机器狗Aibo作玩伴
在东京的新富养老院,机器狗还能代替宠物狗,和老人进行互动。比如图上这位正在给老奶奶带来微笑的机器狗叫作Aibo。这里甚至有20个不同“品种”的机器宠物狗,以供老人们打发无聊时光。政府希望,这家老人院能够给其他机构——包括外国养老院——提供借鉴。
抱抱Paro小海豹
这可不是普通的毛绒玩具——Paro是一种智能宠物,当人抚摸它的时候,它会发出声音。在长达十年的研发工作之后,这种机器宠物海豹已经在市场上推广,目前全球有5000只,其中3000只都在日本。不过Paro价值不菲:在日本,这么一只毛茸茸的小海豹售价折合大约3800美元;在欧洲要买一只的话甚至需要5000欧元。
昂贵的玩伴
很多日本养老机构采购这种昂贵的智能宠物同时都能够得到政府的补贴。小海豹Paro给老人们的生活增添了乐趣。它不仅能够对抚摸做出反应,而且还能感应人说话的声音以及灯光。它会摇头摆尾,眨动眼睛,还会发出和真海豹一样的叫声。
“举重若轻”
机器人技术不仅能为养老院提供娱乐,而且还能给护理人员带来实实在在的帮助。比如图上这种“肌力装”(Muscle Suit),护工穿上之后就可以轻松抱起行动不便的老人。
好帮手
不要小看了这“肌力装”,它能大大加强护工的力量。这能让老人感觉更安全,也让护理人员轻松不少。这种装置还能够防止护工在工作过程中出现腰背疼痛。
人的关爱无可取代
这种智能行走辅助机器能够帮助腿脚不灵便的老人在走路时更好地实现平衡。尽管机器人有诸多优点,但是日本政府仍然强调:机器不能够完全取代人,只能是给护理人员充当帮手,让他们节省下更多的时间去做一些机器人无法胜任的工作。
