在维权人士陈光诚离开中国赴美大约三周之后,据进入他的家乡山东东师古村的路透社和美联社记者报道,那里的大批看守人员和监控录像设施都已经全部撤除,但是那里的村民仍然"惊魂未定"。他们虽然不愿意记者在报道里提到自己的真实姓名,但是至少可以打开家门与记者对话,这在一个星期以前都还是不可能的。陈光诚的大哥陈光福对路透社记者表示,对陈光诚的监禁给村民心里留下了阴影,恐惧已经渗透到他们的骨髓里,这个阴影需要很长时间才会消失。尽管如此,路透社和美联社的记者还是遭到了当地官员的驱赶。
