Deutsche Welle (DW) is Germany’s international broadcaster, providing multimedia news and information services in 30 languages worldwide. In addition, the DW Akademie trains media professionals in developing and transition
countries. DW is based in Bonn and Berlin.
We are looking for a freelance online and social media editor for our Turkish language editorial team to begin at the earliest possible date.
Job description
-- Planning multimedia content Research and writing of online articles
-- Adaptation of online articles from German or English to Turkish
--Mobile reporting
-- Compilation of web videos
-- Editing of multimedia content
--Management of social media channels
Your profile
-- Bachelor’s degree
-- Experience in editing, journalism and social media
-- Excellent news judgement
-- Creative, open, strong communication skills and a team player
-- Profound knowledge of photo editing systems, layout programs, CMS and
editing videos
-- Experience in web-video production
--willingness to travel
-- Languages: Turkish (native speaker), excellent German and/or English
