Thousands greet pope at Berlin's Olympic stadium

During this visit - the pontiff's call for Europe to remain true to its values of the respect for law and human life has been joined by his urging Catholics to remain true to their faith. He opened his homily to some 61-thousand people in Berlin's Olympic Stadium by pointing to the example of a Catholic marytr, Karl Leisner, a priest who died at the Dachau Concentration camp, saying that along with sacrifice, life is filled with beauty and meaning.
