Les aléas de la bancarisation en RDC

Le gouvernement de la République Démocratique du Congo a décidé depuis plus de huit mois de payer les fonctionnaires par voie bancaire. Les agents doivent donc se doter de comptes, ce qui ne va pas toujours simplement.

Leaders of the fight for women's equality say there is no going back on the revolution that began 30 years ago though the challenges ahead are immense. According to Human Rights Watch in a report issued yesterday at least 10 women were being raped every day in the tiny, embattled town of Bunia as recently as October 2004. Warring militia continue to terrorize Bunia kicking down doors in the night and snatching girls in the fields meanwhile UN peacekeepers in the country have also been accused of raping young girls living in the town's sprawling camp for those displaced by fighting, or trading sweets and pocket change for sex. La bancarisation vise près d’un million d'agents de l’Etat congolais, mais huit mois après la décision des autorités de Kinshasa, certains fonctionnaires éprouvent des difficultés à percevoir leur salaire. Insécurité et manque d'infrastructures bancaires de proximité : voilà autant de difficultés recensées. 

Notre correspondant, Saleh Mwanamilongo, revient de Feshi à près de 1000 Km à l’Est de Kinshasa, dans la province du Bandundu (sud-ouest de la RDC).
