Every year, around 300,000 tons of strawberries are exported from the southern Spanish province of Huelva. The harvest would not be possible without helpers from Morocco and other African countries. But there are concerns that the working and living conditions of the seasonal workers are sometimes inhumane. The farmers, in turn, complain that supermarket chains are setting unfair prices.
