Bangladesh is one of the most densely populated countries in South Asia, putting it particularly at risk from the pandemic. The nation's economy has also been hit hard by the crisis — the country relies heavily on its textile industry, most of which has been brought to a standstill. Now the millions of people employed in the sector are facing the loss of their livelihoods.
