A huge evacuation operation is underway in Alberta, Canada. Thousands of homes have been burned down, and authorities say a return to the city won't be possible for some time.
After Italy and Norway sent helicopters and planes, other neighbors have pledged help to douse dozens of forest fires across Sweden. Authorities have said some of the blazes are "impossible to extinguish."
Italian planes and Norwegian helicopters have been deployed to help tackle more than 40 large blazes across central Sweden. Fires were also registered in the country's northernmost county in the Arctic Circle.
