Malawi heads to the polls amid deep economic crisis and widespread frustration. Over seven million voters—most under 35—are demanding jobs, food, and fuel. The presidential race pits incumbent Lazarus Chakwera against former leader Peter Mutharika, both criticized for failing to revive the economy. With 70% of the population living in poverty, many hope this election will bring real change.
