Chuck Schumer, US Senate Minority Leader (D-NY), protested President Trump's firing of Sally Yates, the acting Attorney General. Yates ordered the Justice Department to ignore Trump's executive order banning refugees and other mostly Muslim foreigners from the US, calling the dismissal a "Monday Night Massacre" -- an allusion to the 1973 "Saturday Night Massacre" during the Watergate scandal.
