Twitter makes "Juneteenth" employee holiday

Social media outlet Twitter is to make "Juneteenth" a holdiay for its US employees. The date June 19, 1865, is the day Union soldiers told the last remaining slaves in the Confederacy that they had been emancipated. University of Houston history professor Gerald Horne says Twitter's move is better late than never but it shows the company is "scrambling to get on the right side of history".
