The Mathildenhöhe Artists’ colony in Darmstadt

Mathildenhöhe in Darmstadt is a work of art in its own right and one of the birthplaces of European modernism. DW reporter Nicole Frölich explores the artists’ colony, which UNESCO named a World Heritage Site in 2021.
