The joy of destruction on YouTube

A Finnish man on YouTube crushes everything from smartphones to bowling balls. Their videos on "Hydraulic Press Channel" have so far garnered over 180 million views.

Normally, Lauri Vuohensilta uses his workshop to manufacture metal parts. But for the last 18 months, he’s been featuring his hydraulic press in YouTube videos. Inspired by channels such as "Will It Blend" and "TechRax", he crushes everything from Barbie dolls to rocks and diamonds with 100 tons of pressure. And just like his objects, within a few months the viewer figures for the "Hydraulic Press Channel" have exploded.
