Spring has arrived in the northern hemisphere – Germany, for example, had a gorgeous Easter. Winter often leaves cities looking drab, dirty and run down, so in many places, it's time for a spring cleaning. DW looked into how it's done in Moscow.

Museumgoers looked on as a painting was taken from Moscow's Tretyakov Gallery, not realizing they were witnessing a theft. The painting by Russian artist Arkhip Kuindzhi is thought to be worth €160,000.
