The goal of a pilgrim is to reorder his or her relationship to God and the world. It's no easy undertaking: the search for new objectives is one that requires discipline. But the continual reassessment of one's life and choices is an integral part of personal development - both for pilgrims and non-pilgrims. How does one identify which values are important? Is obedience a value that still has relevance in the Christian world?
