Soccer on Screen

Fans of film and football are set to gather in the German capital Berlin from March 14 to 20 for the tenth edition of "11mm" - the world's largest soccer movie festival. Kick off! Countdown will be covering the event, in which numerous soccer-related documentaries, short films and feature films compete for the coveted festival prize, the "Golden 11." The magazine will also be marking 50 years of the Bundesliga and looking towards 2014's World Cup in Brazil, as well as showing excerpts from the best films at the "11mm" festival, talking to directors and players and presenting the winners and the losers.
