Siemens Chief Executive Jo Kaeser has told DW he is not amused about US attempts to meddle with his company's deals in Iraq. The CEO also talked about the company's latest earnings results and ongoing restructuring.
German industrial giant Siemens has signed an informal deal to supply electricity to Iraq. There was a similar deal for US competitor General Electric, reportedly after intervention from the White House.
Siemens CEO Joe Kaeser, who's currently participating in a conference on rebuilding Iraq, has told DW the German technology giant will play a strong role in reconstruction through its expertise and long-standing ties.
