Has enlargement worked for the EU? Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic says her country is not ready to join and might not be by 2025. Conflict Zone meets Ana Brnabic.
The gloves were off when Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic appeared on DW's Conflict Zone. The interview whipped up a frenzy in a country not used to politicians having to answer hard-hitting questions.
35 guests in 23 cities around the world: 2018 was a busy year for Conflict Zone, DW's flagship political interview program. These were some of the highlights.
Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic told DW's Conflict Zone that the 1995 massacre in Srebrenica was "not genocide." She also said Serbia was not ready to join the EU before 2025.
Serbia opposed the move, accusing Pristina of "beating war drums." The law would create a new department of defense and convert the Kosovo Security Force into an army. The US pushed for the move, but NATO reacted warily.
