Silicon Valley - the very name is legendary. But it's no longer the place to be in the world of IT. These days information technology experts are headed for the San Franciso Bay area.

Twitter, AirBnB and Zynga have all set up shop in San Francisco. While Silicon Valley is still home to major firms such as Google, Apple and Facebook, starts-up are popping up in the City by the Bay. San Francisco boasts a creative workforce, as well as lower rents and a higher quality of life than Silicon Valley. And investors are taking notice.
