More than 44,000 runners from 133 countries are gearing up for the annual Berlin Marathon. The race has produced numerous world records, due to the flat course and usually mild weather. DW caught up with the men's favorites ahead of the big day.
Olympic champion Eliud Kipchoge has won the men's title in the Berlin Marathon, but missed out on breaking the world record. Fellow Kenyan Gladys Cherono claimed victory in the women's event.
