Rio Reiser: the enduring rock poet

20 years have passed since the death of German singer-songwriter and rock star Rio Reiser, but he lives on in the hearts of his fans. A new best-of album presents his greatest hits in cover versions by young musicians.

Ralph Christian Möbius aka Rio Reiser and his band Ton Steine Scherben gave a voice to the left-wing and alternative youth of the 1970s. In the 1980s, he wrote unforgettable hits like "Junimond". In the lead-up to the album "Alles and noch viel mehr - Das Beste," his brother Gert Möbius has put out a new biography.
