So far US President Barack Obama is keeping his cards close to his chest. He's determined to win a second term in the White House on November 6 but still doesn't know who his opponent will be.

The Republican roadshow has rolled across the United States from state to state: This media circus may not be an obvious way to find the right person for the country's highest office, but it is an exciting rollercoaster ride. So it's no surprise to find four candidates still in the spotlight on Super Tuesday when ten US states get to make their choices.

Mitt Romney has mangaged to extend his lead but will he still be out in front when they reach the finishing line? The mormon from Michigan has a full war chest, a well-oiled campaign machine and the backing of the Republican Party. His main rival is arch-conservative Catholic Rick Santorum. Family, faith and freedom are the values he's putting to the fore. He's against gay marriage and abortion and for tax cuts and sweeping reductions in government spending. He's also refused to rule out military action against Iran.

But which Republican candidate will end up facing off against the US President? Is it all over the bar shouting after Super Tuesday or could the final primaries still influence the outcome? Who should Obama fear more? And how will the election campaign develop?.
