All this year the problem of food shortages in northern Nigeria has been highlighted by various aid agencies. The UN described it this month as the worst on the African continent. President Buhari though says that is hype. But the Boko Haram insurgency has disrupted food production in the region. Mohammed Al-Amin is DW's correspondent in northern Nigeria.
