The family of Daunte Wright, a 20-year-old black man killed by police have joined the third day of protests to voice their grief. The defence of the policeman charged with the murder of George Floyd have argued the use of force was justified.

The four police officers involved in the fatal arrest of the 46-year-old on May 25, 2020 have now been indicted by a US federal grand jury. Federal prosecutors accuse them of violating Floyd's civil rights.
"My son should be burying me," Daunte Wright's mother has said during an emotionally charged funeral. In attendance were also members of George Floyd's family.
The request comes just two weeks after the former Minneapolis police officer was convicted of the murder of Black man George Floyd. Chauvin claims he did not receive a fair trial.
An officer allegedly shot a young Black man after confusing a taser for a handgun. The shooting took place not far from the courtroom where Derek Chauvin is on trial for the murder of George Floyd.
