A milder climate and more cruise ships are changing the Svalbard archipelago in the Arctic Ocean. While some residents welcome the growth of tourism, others are alarmed by the influx of visitors and the melting glaciers.
The man was leading a group of tourists on a remote Arctic archipelago when the attack occurred. The man is in stable condition, but the bear was shot dead and local police have launched an investigation.
