North Dakota: Severe riots during pipeline protest

Police officers dressed in riot gear and firing bean bags and pepper spray evicted dozens of protesters in Cannon Ball, North Dakota, on Thursday. The largely Native American protesters were opposing the construction of an oil pipeline. Some of them camped at the site for several months.
