Sculptures made of old elevator cables can be seen in an open-air exhibition on a traffic island on Broadway in the middle of Manhattan.
The seven great works are by the Taiwanese artist Kang Muxiang and are standing on a traffic island on Broadway in the middle of Manhattan.
The elevator cables were once installed in a high-rise building in the Taiwanese capital Taipei. Artist Kang recycled the thick cables into man-high embyro-like figures.
The exhibition entitled "Rebirth" can be seen until September 15.
