Motörhead guitarist 'Fast' Eddie Clarke dies

Motörhead said on its Facebook page that the band's original guitarist, Edward Allan Clarke, better known as "Fast" Eddie Clarke, has passed away on Wednesday, in a hospital where he was being treated for pneumonia. He was 67 years old.
The guitarist joined Motörhead soon after the band was founded in 1975 by former Hawkwind bassist, Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister. Clarke was the final survivor of the band's classic lineup, which also included drummer Phil Taylor. Kilmister and Taylor both died in 2015.
With Clarke, "the last of the three amigos is dead," said drummer Mikkey Dee, who was also with the British heavy rock band from 1992 to 2015.

Clarke "will be remembered for his iconic riffs and was a true Rock'n'Roller," said Motörhead's Phil Campbell, the band's longest serving guitarist.
He left Motörhead in 1982 and formed the band Fastway. He would however occasionally reunite with Motörhead, including at the 2000 anniversary concert at London's Brixton Academy.
